Disclosure script builder

Sixteen scripts, built from what people actually say and what actually lands. Pick your situation and get wording you can use tonight.

Nothing you select leaves your browser. No signup, no email field, no analytics on your answers. Checked September 8, 2026 · This site is run by an employee of the company that owns PositiveSingles. Why that matters

Build your script

Three questions. About thirty seconds.

1. Your situation
2. How you'll tell them
3. Relationship context

How to use what it gives you

Treat the output as a first draft in your own mouth, not a line to recite. Change the words that do not sound like you; the structure is what does the work, not the phrasing. Three things matter more than wording: say it before any sexual contact, say it calmly, and stop talking once you have said it. Silence after a disclosure feels unbearable and is almost always the other person thinking, not recoiling.

For the reasoning behind the structure, read the first-disclosure guide. For the numbers the scripts cite, see transmission risk.

Where the conversation has already happened

PositiveSingles is a dating site for people with herpes, HPV, HIV and other STIs, running since 2001. Every profile lists a status, so nobody has to bring it up.

A free account lets you browse and reply, which is enough to see whether anyone active is near you. Starting a conversation takes a paid plan.
